dillemma

dillemma

The reason I started this blog, two years ago this October was because I think one of the most important things anyone can do in life is to make someone laugh. Even a chuckle or a smile to me is priceless.

Thinking about the impending anniversary of 9/11 has kept me up at night. What should I write this week? What's even appropriate? Clearly, obstreperous humor is inappropriate and I don't want to dwell on the horror that took place in my home town. There will be more than enough of that on teevee.

As long time readers know, I intentionally stray away from cerebral matters and I don't like to talk about politics -- I just want to make you smile everyday even if you are just laughing with me at how miserable my life has been lately. Laughter is what unites everyone regardless of party - it's simply human. Being human allows me to love the lefty Bad Dude and the Right Wing Texan simultaneously. That's what's important to me. Understanding.

But back to finding the right balance of topics this week, I could write about American things that I love....like McDonalds. I could post fiction I've written. Posts could consist soley of the photos that I take during my wanderings. Or I could not post at all. After much thought, I've decided to do the democratic thing and ask my readers. Let me know in the comments what you want to see and read here next week. I'm here to serve you.
