Putty Tat
There is a new addition to the Moxtopian Feline Zoo -- please welcome Putty Tat. No, I didn't name him. Interestingly enough he prefers to be called "Putties" the regal plural.
He's fiscally conservative and somewhat of an anarchist on social issues.
Advice on how to handle two indoor cats and one outdoor cat is welcomed and encouraged.

What's the problem? They aren't getting along?

No, they get along well enough -- I'm just concerned about what he's picking up outside and potentially bringing to my indoor cats. Vaccinated and all, this is my first experience with an indoor/outdoor cat.

As long as they all have the Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDS vaccines they should be fine. You will have to watch them more closely for fleas, and you may have to start giving them all heart worm pills if your aren't already.
The end of his tail looks like a flamingo head. :)

I agree with M@.
I could not even tell that there was a cat in the photograph because it is so dark.
He is cute, though.
I have two indoor/outdoor cats who use the basement litterbox and the dirt for waste needs.
Oh, and make damn sure that there aren't any strays in the area. There was this male cat whose scent made my female (spayed) cats go friggin' NUTS.

I must resist today's flamebait because everybody knows about my views on four-legged tribbles, so I will try to remain calm.
BTW, if you conduct an archival search at the Huffington's Toast with the keyword "Bentley", you will find 5 entries that were written by the Mox.

Maybe just put the Frontline stuff on the outside cat to discourage it from bringing in fleas and such.

I own five indoor RepubliCats, Moxie. There's no much advise to be given unless I tell you to renovate your love for food, drinks and other decadent pleasures... Then you get to ignore all the damage that you're going to see done to your property, like some feline puking on top of your latest copy of a magazine, or some other feline who is dipping its paw in your espresso to make an abstrac expressionistic painting on the tablecloth. The best part is that they keep the DemoRats away from you!

You never mentioned the sexes of those indoor cats? Its scary, "Putties" look like my male cat named "Soah" except he doesnt have a small white spot on the chest. I find that if you hold the source of food that they need (love?), they will only come back to you for that - isn't that how dimocats function? Otherwise they turn against you and do horrendous things and you start calling it names, just like those liberals do right?

He's a sharp dude, to be sure.
Outdoor cats have a whole set of issues where they come into contact with other cats and can then transmit that to their indoor colleagues. Not usually a problem if shots and what are all up to date. Another thing to keep an eye on is rodents. He's bound to catch a few, and I've known cats who've eaten poisoned mice etc. with unpleasant results.

I have 3 indoor cats, 3 out door cats (semi ferals) , and 1 bad ass parrot. The best advice I can give is to have one more litter pan than the number of cats, look into those feliway "happy kitty phermone" atomizers, and let them beat the snot out of each other. If I interrupt a fight, they shoot me the dirtiest looks, and strut off in a huff to resume their fight in another room. Oh, and don't skimp on the quality of food! Out door cats need the extra nutrition!
Good Luck! Black cats are gorgeous!
As for the out door kitty, she needs a warm place to sleep. Before we constructed our barn, the cats had a large rubber made dog house, filled with pine straw, to hold up during bad weather.

FYI, on the Feline Aids and Feline Leukemia vaccines... refresh my memory on which one I'm thinking of... one of them makes your cat test false positive for the virus. So, if she is an outdoor kitty, and someone were to test her for it after being vaccinated, they would think she was infected. :( My vet forgot to mention that tid bit of info!
