"Ha dovuto legarlo al suo piedino"... which roughly translates to " he hadda tie it to his leg".

I noticed you refer to liberalism as a "mental illness." I might remind you that "liberal" is a broad term. A liberal is someone open to change, so you could say that Thomas Jefferson and John Adams were liberals. Societies are constantly changing, and people need to adapt their government to match their society. Perhaps you think Jefferson and Adams were mentally ill. Okay, you are entitled to your opinion. If that is the case I must assume that you hate democracy, since men like Jefferson and Adams founded democracy in America. If you hate democracy, you are no better than the terrorists who kill our soldiers and bomb our nation. Why not check yourself into a picturesque little Island resort on Guantanamo Bay. You might find that you are in good company.

At any rate, it does seem that the 'Liberal' label has been hijacked by unsavories. Classic Liberalism favored laissez-faire economics, unfettered right to bear arms, and later, to spreading democracy around the globe.

I'm not excited about these developments out of Korea. That deal could just be a ploy. Don't trust the commies. At least Bush will get some good PR relief with this "victory".

Having said that, I'd like to point out there hasn't been an on topic comment since Aarons "Karl Rovi Jovi" (which still makes me laugh), and really what could any of us have done? Steve pretty much wrung it out with Long Dong Jovi". Whatever meager play was left was snatched up immediately with 'Karl flabby jabby'. Recognizing this, I thought to myself, 'I have nothing to add' and blissfully set about waiting for M to enlighten us further.
