more fun with liberals and conservatives
It's kind of like Dick and Jane, but with half the stink.
Maia and I went Gelson's to pick up some food items for dinner. A very handsome and well groomed man was poised to pounce right outside the sliding doors.
As we approached, he said, "thank god you are here, ladies..."
Maia whispered that he was staring at my rack. I told her later, of course he was attracted to my boyish figure. He was a well groomed liberal and therefore gay.
I glanced to his right, which must have hurt, and saw a lifesized picture of Dick Cheney with some liberal message about impeaching our leaders.
At this point, we were within patchouli distance and I could smell "progressively" better and better. Without a thought I blurted out, " Sorry, I love Dick Cheney." Because I really do.
And honestly, he looked like the kind of guy who likes dick too.
Maia and I kept walking, chuckling. But the man shouted something about wanting to kill me. Because you know, if Dick Cheney is running around biting the heads off small children while they sleep and someone likes Dick Cheney, the natural response is violence.
Right?

What is it about sexually ambiguous men being verbally abusive toward women? I recall Cathy going through a similar experience with "Austin from The Progressive Network."

Wonder if he would have yelled it at someone who isn't five feet tall and female?

Was he a LaRouche guy? Because I've been seeing LaRouchies in the South Bay lately. All with LA County Sheriffs as protection bc down here, we still love Dick, too.

Hello Moxala,
I see you are still at it ever so witty and still preaching to the choir (boys). How anyone at this stage of things (the criminality of our leaders blazing across the sky, the blazing across the sky of Iraq on fire and the installation of "Al Qaeda in Iraq" courtesy of the Bushies, watching the Republican party sawing off the limb the moron is standing on, and sooo much more) can find your tired shtick amusing is amazing. Patchouli, your boobs, liberal-gay equations, your Dick, their dick(s), showering & beards and every other 70’s puerile small minded cliché you have dragged around in your maw for the last 5 years like a cat with a dead Starling looking for her mistress’s pillow . Do you think you have any readers older than 14? Do you still smile at yourself each time you let one of these trenchant epistles fly? Are you still trying to insert yourself into the world of RW commentary as the shorter (but better proportioned) and sexier, Ann C?
Jeez, Mox, get a life, ‘cause the goal of this pursuit is truly the booby prize.

Unfortunately for us, without Annika's Journal as its host, the parasite has returned. In order to survive, it requires attention, especially from female conservative bloggers.
Don't feed it, folks.

I agree, reagan80. Earlier today I thought of posting a response, but the troll is really not worth the trouble.

I agree. He'll go away. He used to haunt the moxtopia compound years ago, finally went away to Annika's. Pretend he's not here. Because really, he isn't.

I am gone like the 3500 Americans burned, shot, torn apart in the service of flawed, fundamentally ill informed, ineptly executed criminal policy concocted by your hero's. Now as the country licks its collective asshole after the fucking the bush gang gave it common sense is returning to the land and the real mouning will begin for those who's lives were sacrificed their lives and limbs for nothing.

"Thank God you are here, ladies"? What kind of opening is that?
The Left seems to have some strange fixation on Impeachment, as if disagreement with policy is adequate cause. They made the same demands when Reagan was in office. Naturally, violence in word and deed against political opponents is justifable as they are the righteous. In this case, the man was a moral coward.
I feel the need to add this note to the discussion: "None make a greater show of sorrow than those who are most delighted." - Tacitus

Hey Strawman, appropriate moniker, this is for you:
I think liberals are afflicted by Munchausen Syndrome, which is defined as follows:
''An emotionally immature person with narcissistic tendencies, low self-esteem and a fragile ego who has an overwhelming need to draw attention to himself or herself. This is achieved by capitalising on, exploiting, exaggerating or feigning illness or injury or personal misfortune.''

Hey David,
Antiquity and speaking Latin do not make a man wise. Pontification trying to pass as insightful discourse was just as rare and full of self interest in Rome as it is in Washington.
How about this one "If we do not defeat our enemy upon his own shore, he will follow us to our own." The Chimp
Simplistic bullshit with the ring of authority. Maybe he should have said it in Latin.
Or
"Among the calamities of war may be justly numbered the diminution of the love of truth by the falsehoods which interest dictates and credulity encourages." S. Johnson
Does that convince you that they lied to get the war going, continue to lie to keep it going and don't care because they are on some Devine mission? Of course not, true as it may be.
And don't continue to confuse my anger with sorrow. I would just a soon put a ______ in Georges or Dick's head as spit.
As for impeachment, Reagan's henchmen committed felonies and Dutch's knowledge of the Iran arms for contra cash deal would have been, had it been proven, a high crime not a policy difference.( how do you feel knowing that IED's shipped to Iraq from Iran might contain explosives Dutch sold them?) I have no doubt he knew but like most in his seat invoking executive privilege stops the investigation. Why do you think this Administration is so nuts over EP? Because they have nothing to hide and just care so much about protecting the boundaries of the Executive? Now Dick wants to be part of the legislative branch. What's up with that?
The call for impeachment is not driven by disagreements about policy but by a belief that Bush & Co. lied to Congress and the American people to justify the invasion of Iraq.

Please ignore the aptly named Strawman.

See. This is why God gave us intelligence to learn chemistry and engineering and use them to dig up the resources of the earth to enable us to build the machines to make those cute little pepper gas sprays to use on jerks like that to teach them manners. Isn't God wonderful?

This is why I never go to Gay Pride events anymore. While I enjoy looking at the hot guys, they keep opening their mouths and bleating about liberal causes, and how evil Cheney is, and how conservatives are the spawn of demons, and so on.
Kinda kills the semi.
