a few items
I have finally recovered from from my hysterical laughter over Winkle Paw.
Much of my traffic today has come from people on google searching for him. In Winkle's honor, I am going to make a large donation to a Republican candidate.
Doubt that Mr. Hsu will reimburse me. But whatever. It was a damn good laugh. Doesn't he have any friends? "Dude, the Winkle thing was cute when you were two -- but it's time to change that to something that doesn't make people pee their pants with laughter."

My boyfriend in college was friends with a girl named Twinkle Van Winkle.
I didn't know her well, but met her enough times to verify that it was her real name.
