who will be left to turn out the lights at Pajamas Media?

Seems like it's time to update the famous "Survivor: Pajamas Media" image.

Aaron and I are surprised that not even the left cares enough about Raj to poke fun at the continued failure of his lovely 7 million dollar group blog.

Photoshop created and updated by Aaron, of course. What would we do without him?!

It pains me to see good people like Charles and Laurence and Baldilocks so badly (and predictably) taken advantage of. When I saw the original legal packet for PJM serfs, I squeezed my sphincter tight and wisely ran.

Bah. I'm just a smalltimer dreaming of staying nice and small.

Looking back, I don't feel taken advantage of, really. I mean, I figure I suckered them for a few grand, spent it on ads for sites that mocked them, and I did my best only to link their fuckups, screwups, and foulups.

I didn't jump on any bandwagons, any linkfests, any "kiss ass campaigns."

It could have turned out better, but look at who's behind it, eh?

They totally blew a beautiful opportunity with Shire Network News, and only linked when they could attempt to drive a wedge between the major contributors.

What's amusing is that I got a query about returning a while back.

Odd behavior on their part, for a site that doesn't find any of my content worth linking to, eh?

Just a place to stick ads.

Maybe with Utterz and Twitter and Second Life and other social networking apps I'm shedding the blogger role, or backburnering it to the other aspects of new media.

Or not.

So get over your pain over my situation, Aaron. Because I just look back and laugh, and I look forward and laugh harder.

And wasn't Baldilocks the official liaison with the other bloggers? Yes? No? Wow, talk about paying a fortune for a blown fuse there. Don't think a whit about her, I'd suggest.

Me too. I took one look at those docs and said "No way." Of course I kind of wish I took the Simon approach, ran the ads and pocketed the cash while laughing at them...

Damn, I'm stupid.

Oh, Jim. You're not stupid. You're just not as evil as I am.

But I want to be, I really want to be. :)

Remember me?
I only lost $35,000 of my own money. If I was smart I would have used investors.
P.s. Thanks for your advice. You are one of the few people who returned my emails.
